With a Missouri state license in Cosmetology, you are able to perform:
• All haircutting techniques (including clipper cuts and ethnic hair) and all chemical services for hair (coloring, straightening, perms, etc.)
• All nail applications (ranging from complete artificial nail sets to spa mani/pedi with hand and foot massages)
• Hair removal and facials, and help clients with skincare.

At the Academy of Hair Design, students from all of our programs learn right alongside each other. Our goal is for all of our Barber and Cosmetology students to learn as much as they are licensed to do after the State Board exam. Upon completion of the Basics class, our Barber instructors teach the fundamentals of clipper cuts, guiding every Barber and Cosmo student in clipper techniques that have passed the test of time.
Cosmetology is our most involved program designed for the hairstylist who wants to know it all!
