Does the thought of filing for financial assistance scare you?
At the Academy of Hair Design we want to make the financial aid process as simple as possible. We have recently been qualified to accept Pell Grants and Federal Student Loans for those who qualify. We are committed to walking with you, step by step, to obtain all of the financial aid that is available for you. That's our job. Come in and let us help make your dreams of a new career come true!
Our goal is to make financial aid as easy as 1, 2, 3.
- You can come in for a confidential financial aid consultation.
- You can meet with our financial aid director, Donna Collins, who will help you fill out your FAFSA application (school code 0403075).
- You will receive your results in about 2 weeks.
We work with many forms of financial aid and offer many different payment options, including a $1,000 cash discount for the cosmetology, barber and esthetician programs if you pay up front. We understand that every student's needs are different, and we want to work with you to find a payment option that fits you best.
Here are some sources of assistance you may be eligible for:
- The Pell Grant (up to $4,731 per year)
- Direct Federal Student Loans (as low as 6.8%)
- Veterans Administration (VA)
- The Sallie Mae Loan (SLM)
- Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
- Vocational Rehabilitation
- The Missouri Career Center
- Interest-Free Monthly Payment Plan
